A little note...
Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of directing The Jungle Book with the incredible students at Simply Theatre Zürich, a project that holds special significance for me as I it was my first direction of a play here in Switzerland! Working with this cast has been a joyful reminder of why theatre for young performers matters so deeply; curiosity, courage, collaboration, and a lot of fun filled every rehearsal. As a performer, director, and educator, I’m especially passionate about creating rehearsal spaces where students are able take risks, celebrate their individuality, and grow not just as artists and professionals, but as people. During The Jungle Book process, many of the students made great strides in their performance ability and professionalism. It's my sincere hope that they will continue to hone their skills and choose to make the performing arts a part of their lives.
